Leather and PU bag manufacturing in Hyderabad

Briefcases, slings and handbags in grained leather or PU. This line carries its own lower minimum of 50 pcs because the unit cost is high enough that a hundred pieces is a large commitment.

Full grain wears in and shows every mark the animal and the tannery left on it. Corrected grain has that surface sanded and a finish printed onto it, so it looks uniform across a run and will never develop a patina. Neither is the better one. If the order is a set of executive gifts that have to look identical in a photograph, uniformity is the feature; if it is a retail line built on the material aging, it is the defect.

PU is not a lesser leather, it is a different material with different failure behaviour — it does not stretch, it does not patina, and it eventually delaminates rather than wearing thin. For a corporate gift with a three-year life it is often the right call, and it takes an emboss cleanly.

Expect visible variation between pieces in any full grain run. That is the material behaving correctly. If your buyer will reject on that basis, specify corrected grain now and not after the first delivery.

Be honest about it

This is the wrong line for you if

You need certainty that no animal product is involved anywhere — say so at enquiry, because it changes the lining, the thread and the adhesive as well as the shell, and PU alone does not settle it.
The budget is per-piece equivalent to a canvas tote. Leather is not that, and the honest answer is a canvas or polyester bag with good hardware on it.
You want an exact colour match across two orders placed months apart. Hide dye lots vary. We can get close and we will not promise identical.

Common questions about leather and pu bag manufacturing

What is the minimum order for leather bags?

50 pcs per design — lower than the 100 pcs minimum on the rest of the range, because the per-piece cost here is high enough that a larger minimum would price out most first orders.

Full grain or corrected grain?

Corrected grain if the pieces have to look identical to each other — corporate gifting, anything photographed as a set. Full grain if the bag is meant to age and the buyer values that. Full grain will arrive with natural marks in it and that is not a defect.

Is PU worth considering?

For most corporate orders, yes. It is consistent piece to piece, it embosses cleanly, it costs materially less, and over a two to three year gifting life the difference in wear is not what anyone notices. It will eventually delaminate rather than wear thin, which is a worse-looking end of life.

Can you emboss our logo?

Blind emboss and foil emboss both, and a stitched metal badge where the logo has fine detail that will not hold in a press. Send vector artwork. A raster logo has to be redrawn before a die can be cut, which adds a step before sampling.
