What we make

Jute and juco bag manufacturing in Hyderabad

Jute is the cheapest natural-fibre bag that still looks like a gift rather than a carrier. It is what most conference kits and retail carry bags end up being, and it prints well in one or two flat colours.

Juco is worth asking about if the artwork has fine detail in it. Raw jute has a coarse open weave, and a screen print with small type on it fills in at the edges — juco's cotton content closes the face enough to hold the line. It costs more per metre than plain jute.

The board insert in the base is the difference between a bag that stands on a table and one that folds over when it is empty. On a giveaway bag that will be photographed, it is usually worth it. On something shipped flat in bulk, it is weight you are paying to move.

Lamination prints sharper and resists damp. It also makes the bag harder to recycle, so if the brief says compostable, say so before we quote.

Be honest about it

This is the wrong line for you if

  • The bag has to be food-contact safe — jute sheds fibre and is not the right carrier for unwrapped food.
  • The brief says compostable and also says laminated. Lamination is what makes jute damp-resistant and it is also what stops it composting. Pick one before we quote.
  • You need photographic or four-colour artwork. That is a job for cotton canvas or a printed non-woven, not for jute.

If one of those describes your order, say so when you write in and we will point you at the line that does fit — including when that means a smaller order than the one you came for.

Questions

Common questions about jute and juco bag manufacturing

What is the minimum order for jute bags?
100 pcs per design. Three colourways of the same bag count as one design, not three, so a spread across colours does not push you over a threshold.
Should the jute bag be laminated?
Laminated if it will be carried outdoors, stored in a damp godown, or printed with anything finer than a bold logo — the coating both protects it and prints sharper. Unlaminated if recyclability is the point of choosing jute at all. The laminate is a plastic film and it is what stops the bag composting.
Can you match a Pantone on jute?
Close, not exact. Jute is a natural fibre with its own brown cast, so a printed colour sits on top of that base rather than on white. Pale colours shift the most. Send the Pantone and we will tell you honestly how near it will land before you commit.
How long does a jute bag order take?

Material, finished size, print method, quantity, and the date it has to land. That is enough to price it properly.

We will tell you if the material you have asked for is the wrong one for the job, and what we would use instead.
