What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect:
- Your name and phone number. Both are required — we cannot quote without being able to reach you.
- Your email address, the type of bag and the quantity, if you choose to give them. All three are optional.
Alongside that, the form records automatically:
- Which page and which form you submitted from.
- How you reached us. If you arrived from a Google ad, the link carries a click identifier and campaign parameters (
gclid,utm_source,utm_campaignand similar). We read these when you land and send them with your enquiry.
We do not ask for and do not want payment details, identity documents or any sensitive personal information. Please do not put them in the message fields.
The forms include a hidden field that people never see. Only automated bots fill it in, and anything submitted with it is discarded rather than stored.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To follow up about that enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email.
- To understand which ads and search terms bring genuine enquiries, so we stop paying for the ones that do not.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to send marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is passed to the services we use to run the business. Each receives only what it needs:
- Privyr — sends the enquiry to our phones so we see it immediately. Receives your name, phone, email if given, bag type, quantity, and which ad campaign and search term brought you.
- Zoho CRM — our customer record system, and where your enquiry is kept. Receives everything above plus the click identifier and campaign parameters.
- Google Ads — we report back that an enquiry happened, and later whether it became a real order, using the click identifier. Google receives that identifier and the outcome. It does not receive your name, phone number or email.
- PostHog — website analytics. Records pages viewed, where people click and how far they scroll, and any errors the page hits. It is not given your form data. Session recording and surveys are switched off.
- Calendly — only if you book a call. You give your details to Calendly directly on that booking form, under their policy.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We have no other sharing arrangements.
What is stored on your device
- Attribution. We save the click identifier and campaign parameters in your browser’s local storage under
abm_attribution, so that if you come back a few days later to enquire we can still tell which ad brought you. Clearing your browser data removes it. - Cookies set by Google and PostHog for the purposes described above. You can block or clear these in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our CRM for as long as we might reasonably do business with you, and so that we recognise you if you come back. Ask us to delete yours and we will. Analytics data is retained by PostHog under their standard retention.
Your choices
Write to abmbags01@gmail.com or call +91 82971 21212 and you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your enquiry and stop contacting you.
We will act on it. If your request needs us to confirm who you are, we will only ask for as much as it takes to be sure.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we update this page and the date at the top. This is the current version.
